I enjoyed reading the history of Petit Jean Mountain's early settlers. It is very meaningful because of my mother's family history on the same mountain. Sam Koenig is an excellent genealogist who gives back to the community he cares about.
I just ordered a second copy of this book as a Christmas present for my father, after purchasing for myself. My Great Grandmother is Addie Carlock Selvey who’s interview is on page 89. We actually have the original article, but this is a great format for sharing with my children. Thank you for writing this book.
